New Dongfeng Dolica D9 Wrecker with Changxing 8-Ton 5-Section Synchronous Telescopic Crane Rolls Off Production Line

A new multi-functional recovery wrecker truck built on Dongfeng Dolica D9 chassis has finished assembly and factory acceptance at our special vehicle workshop. This integrated wrecker with crane is engineered for heavy road rescue, accident vehicle recovery and on-site lifting work, catering to the demanding needs of highway rescue teams, municipal emergency departments and overseas towing operators.
The chassis is powered by a reliable Cummins 6-cylinder diesel engine rated at 230 horsepower. The power unit delivers stable torque output under low-speed heavy-load conditions, ensuring strong power reserve while maintaining good fuel economy for long-distance driving and tough off-road rescue scenarios. The matched transmission system provides smooth power delivery, making the truck easy to control during complex recovery operations.
The core upper lifting equipment is a Changxing 8-ton 5-section synchronous telescopic crane. The synchronous telescoping design enables all boom sections to extend and retract in unison, bringing smoother operation and better positioning accuracy compared with traditional single-section telescopic cranes. The working boom reaches 18.5 meters, with a maximum lifting height of 20 meters. This long-reach crane can complete hoisting and resetting of overturned light and medium trucks, vans and engineering vehicles without frequent relocation of the main truck, greatly improving rescue efficiency at accident sites.
To strengthen heavy pulling capacity, the superstructure is fitted with an 8-ton middle-mounted hydraulic winch. The middle layout of the winch optimizes the vehicle’s centre of gravity and keeps the pulling force stable during heavy-duty traction. It is suitable for pulling trapped vehicles out of ditches, muddy ground and slope areas. The truck is also equipped with a hydraulic tail flip mechanism, which helps operators adjust the rear working angle quickly and safely when loading or dragging damaged vehicles.
At the rear working section, an 8-ton 3-section rear dragging arm is installed. The three-stage telescopic dragging arm can extend flexibly to adapt to different vehicle wheelbases and accident site conditions. It provides stable lifting and towing capacity for broken-down and collision-damaged vehicles. Combined with the crane and winch system, the whole truck realizes one-vehicle multi-tasking: hoisting, pulling, lifting and towing, which saves investment on separate lifting equipment and simple tow trucks.
All hydraulic components adopt industrial-grade hydraulic system with stable pressure output and reliable sealing performance. The control system supports both integrated and separate operation of the crane, winch, tail flip and dragging arm. Operators can finish recovery procedures with clear, easy-to-handle control levers. Before delivery, the vehicle has passed full load lifting test, winch pulling test, hydraulic leakage inspection and road test, to guarantee stable performance under continuous heavy working conditions.
This Dongfeng Dolica D9 wrecker with crane is a cost-effective all-in-one rescue solution. It balances chassis mobility, lifting capacity and towing performance. It is widely applicable for highway accident rescue, urban road obstacle removal, logistics vehicle breakdown recovery and light engineering hoisting tasks. We are ready to provide customized configuration, certification and export services for global customers, including GCC, EAC and other regional compliance modifications to meet local market import requirements.
