SINOTRUK HOWO NX 8x4 Cargo Truck: High-Power Euro V Heavy-Duty Crane Truck Launched for Versatile Engineering Transport
SINOTRUK has officially launched the upgraded HOWO NX 8x4 heavy-duty cargo truck equipped with a professional crane system, targeting diversified scenarios including engineering construction, material handling, and heavy cargo transportation. Integrating strong power, stable lifting performance and reliable chassis configuration, this left-hand drive heavy truck complies with Euro V emission standards, delivering high-efficiency, low-consumption and full-functional operation solutions for global engineering and logistics markets.
In terms of power performance, the vehicle is equipped with a premium Euro V MC11.44-50 engine, with a displacement of 10.52L, a maximum power of 324kW (440HP), achieving perfect balance between strong power output and fuel economy. Matched with the mature HW25712XST gearbox and HW70 flange-mounted power take-off, the powertrain features smooth shifting, stable power transmission and strong torque reserve, fully adapting to heavy-load starting, long-distance transportation and complex construction working conditions. Adopting an air-assisted aftertreatment system and MC13 cooling module, the truck ensures stable operation of the power system under high-load and high-temperature environments, while meeting stringent Euro V emission requirements with green and environmentally friendly performance.
As a core highlight, the vehicle is fitted with a Changxing 16-ton 5-section telescopic crane (model SQS4000-5), realizing 360° full-rotation flexible operation. The crane supports a maximum lifting weight of 16T, a maximum lifting height of 21.6M and a maximum working radius of 19.6M, covering most medium and large-scale hoisting and handling operations. Equipped with dual-section rear outriggers and a dual slewing system, the equipment greatly improves overall stability during high-altitude and long-radius operation. Meanwhile, the inclined-axis plunger motor winch, automatic hook retraction device and remote start-stop function effectively improve operation efficiency and reduce manual labor intensity. The built-in radiator ensures continuous and stable hydraulic system operation for long-hour construction work.
The truck adopts a professional 8x4 heavy-duty chassis with a total mass of 31000Kg, matching 9.5T front axle and 16T rear axle load configuration, which brings ultra-high bearing capacity and structural stability. The wheelbase of 1800+4600+1350mm optimizes the vehicle’s load distribution and driving stability on complex roads. It is equipped with 315/80R22.5 18PR mixed tread tires, which have excellent wear resistance and grip performance, adapting to diverse road conditions such as construction sites and mountain roads. The through-type subframe with partial reinforcement design effectively enhances the body rigidity, preventing deformation during long-term heavy-load operation and greatly extending the service life of the whole vehicle.
In terms of cargo carrying capacity, the vehicle is customized with a standard cargo box size of 8.4M, and the container dimension reaches 7200X2450X550mm, which can accommodate bulk cargo, mechanical equipment and engineering materials, taking into account both hoisting operation and conventional cargo transportation functions. In terms of intelligent and comfortable configuration, the double-seat cab is equipped with driver airbags and lightweight passenger seats to ensure driving safety and riding comfort. It is also fitted with an NANO electrical system, MP3 entertainment device, optional reverse warning buzzer, long-life fuel primary filter and rear stabilizer bar, comprehensively optimizing driving experience and vehicle safety performance. The road-version air intake system further enhances the vehicle’s adaptability to complex working environments.
